As a visual artist, educator and author, rooted in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, her work is a direct dialogue with the East Coast of Canada. She is profoundly captivated by the natural beauty, dramatic tides, and magnificent whales of the Bay of Fundy. The presence of the ‘gentle giants’ fuels both her visual art and storytelling.
Her mixed-media style harmonizes the fluid transparency, free-flowing washes of watercolour with the deliberate, fine detail of coloured pencils.
Her debut children’s book, A Whale at My Window, will be published in fall of 2026 by Acorn Press. As both author and illustrator, the project is a true labor of love that brings the magic of the Bay of Fundy to the page.
